Biography

Dr. Christy Rentmeester’s research interests focus on intersections of ethics and social policy in the context of healthcare. Most recently, she published the following articles:

  • Dr. Rentmeester has served on ethics consultation services of several institutions, has been a National Scholar at the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Institute, and currently teaches healthcare professionals, health professions students, and upper-division undergraduate students. She is a member of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities (ASBH), for which she initiated and directs the Mental Health Ethics & Policy Affinity Group. She holds an appointment by the Nebraska State Board of Health.
