Biography

Dr. Donald Frey is a graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri with a degree in chemistry and the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he received his MD. He completed his post graduate residency training at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and is currently board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. Prior to joining the Creighton faculty, Dr. Frey was a rural physician in northwest Missouri, an emergency physician in West Virginia, a healthcare administrator, and the director of community based Family Medicine training programs in Nebraska and West Virginia. Since 1995, he has served as chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Creighton University's School of Medicine.
