Description of Roundtables
The purpose of the Center for Health Policy and Ethics (CHPE) Roundtable forum is to foster intellectual exchange in the Omaha and Creighton community, facilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, give participants opportunities to explore new ideas and learn about the scholarly interests of other participants. Registration is not required, although in the interest of space restrictions, we ask that entire classes refrain from attending.
The format of the roundtable is a brief presentation (no longer than 15-20 minutes) followed by "roundtable" discussion led and moderated by a Creighton faculty member or visiting scholar. PowerPoint presentations should be limited to essential visual material and should be prepared to be viewed without turning out the lights.
One or two Roundtables are held each month during the academic year. Roundtables are usually held on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m., in the Center for Health Policy and Ethics' Conference Room.
